IOM Mens vs Guernsey

 

The Island Mens and Ladies teams were in action over the weekend at the Inter-Island Hockey Tournament in Jersey.  This event is held every two years and both IOM squads were winners in 2007 when it was hosted here on the Island. 

Valkyrs were represented in the tournament by:

Mens: Julian Colley, Greg Miller, Will Margot, Gareth Morris & Ollie Webster

Ladies: Andrea Kneen

Umpires: Garreth Roome & Jonah Hull

Julian was also the Mens team captain and Andrea was also the Ladies coach.  Garreth & Jonah were in the umpiring team alongside World Cup FIH umpires Andy Mair & Hamish Jamson.
