Midwife Jo is a defender who wanders round the pitch forgetting that hockey is played with two hands, rounders with one! Loves a drinking session and is usually the one screaming out ridiculously disgusting drinking games to induce maximum drunken behaviour!

Sian Murphy

Don't be fooled by the surname, Sian is a Miller by name and a Miller by nature! Carling is part of her staple diet and look out anyone who gets in her way! Sian is a long serving member of the club and used to play in one of the junior Island squads in her younger days...now she prefers a nice stroll on a Saturday afternoon and hitting the Creek.

Captain Marvel is one hell of a success story being a multi time league winning captain. Has been known to enjoy a glass of pink wine on a night out although now claims to be a responsible 30 something!

Aalish is a good defender who can't half strike the ball. A very quiet girl but watch out any attackers who get too close to her!

Caitlin was a key member of the U13 team that represented Valkyrs and the Island in Manchester recently. Full of fun and very giggly!

Not many people get past Jules. She's as solid as a rock in defence and never lets a bit of blood get in the way of a good game, a star performer.

Nicky Vincent

The Queen of Valkyrs, Vinny is a social butterfly who's taglines include "kissing is an extension of conversation" and "nothing ever happens in your living room"! She's been known to spend a considerable amount of time in BG sipping shampoo although now claims to be a fitness freak! A little known fact is that Vince is a keen golfer and not only plays off a decent handicap, she normally wipes the floor with the competition when it comes to the company annual golf day.

Like most down at Valkyrs, Ann is a drinking champion! Was once known to have turned from sober to drunk on just one sniff of alcohol! A little known fact is that Ann used to work in a factory that makes glue from dead horses. Often witnessed in possession of some quick skills, which isn't a surprise for someone who trains so regularly!
